The diary of Anne Frank question pg 832 and pg 870

1 Respond: The families must obey strict rules to avoid discovery. Which rules would be hardest for you to follow? Why? The most hard rule for me to follow will be stay inside the house all day because i get crazy and really mad when i stay in the house and i will probably will walk out the door because i cannot stay in one place for a long time.



2 (a) recall : In scene 1, what objects does Mr. Frank find in the secret room ? (b) How are these objects connected with the rest of the act? Mr Frank finds a diary in the secret room and gives it to Anne and well this goes with the rest of the act because Anne writes whats happening and how is her life she writes all this down in the diary.



3 (a) Recall What special meaning does Hanukkah have for the families? (b) Deduce: What do Anne presents show about her? (c) Intercept Why do the others react with enthusiasm to their parents? Hanukkah special meaning is that is that is families religion they all united that day and they give each other presents. Anne presents show that she cares about them and celebrates Hanukkah. They act like that with their parents because they are probably mad and annoyed to be stuck in the house with out going outside and that's why they act like that.



4 (a) Evaluate with a partner , discuss Mr. Frank's statement , "there are . . . no locks that anyone can put on your mind." How does Anne prove that is true? (b) Discuss: share your answer with a a partner and then with the rest of the class. She explains by giving reasons and explaining why there is no locks that anyone can put you.



5 (a) What is the Historical cause that forces the Franks to go into hiding? (b) What effects does this situation have on their daily lives? The Franks have to hide because the Nazis are looking for the Jews to kill them and make them suffer well the Franks are Jews and they don't wanna died so that's why they went into hiding. This affects their daily life's by they can go outside for nothing they have to be full time hiding in their place they cannot make noise for hours and hours plus they can open the window and they dont have enought supplies or food so that makes ther lifes suffer.



6 In scene 2, Anne and Peter discuss the stars of David on their clothes. (a) What effects do the Nazis intend the wearing of the stars to have on the Jews? (b) What background information about the war and the Nazis' treament of the Jews helps you link this cause with its intended effects? They talk about the star and how is precious to have and the history and the meaning of the star of David. The Nazis are gonna kill anybody that has the star of David in their clothes our where it. The Nazis treated the jews like slaves and make them work and kill them it show that the Nazis really hated the Jews.

8 After Mr. Kraler asks if Jan Dussel can join the Franks and the Van Daans in hidding , what does does the dialogue among the characters reveal about their personalities? It show that the Franks say yes he could joing in the hidding place and that the Van Daans say no and they where selfhish and only care about them and well that where some of the personalities that where shown in the story and both of families that live in the hidding place.

1what do you like best about Anne Frank? How would you like having her as a friend? I like about Anne that she knows how to keep herself entertain while she is hiding and can make noice and she finds ways like writing in her journal or reading a book. I would like to have her as a friend by the way she understand the problems you have and she will help you one way to solve them.



2 (a) Recall : what disturbing news does Mr. Kraler bring on New Years day? (b) connect what hint does this give about the ending of play? Mr Kraler news where that if they had space for another Jew because he cannot find a place where he can go the only place was where the Franks live and they say yes there is room for him. The hint of end of the play is that there was not allot food left and they only had a little tickes to buy food and the VAnn Dam family where fighting with the Franks.

The span of act in 2 is that they been hiding for 2 years without seen the sun or taking a fresh hair breath and when finally there gonna make it someone snitches on them and they get send to concentrated camps and well i guess they died. B The characters changed by like their moods they went from been happy in act1 till been mad and depress and some love was included in act 2 that how they changed. c Anne change she fell in love with Peter and well now she has feelings for him.

4 (a) Draw conclusion How can Anne believed that in spite of everything people are really good in heart? (b) Intercept what does Mr Frank mean when he says she put means to shame?
she put that sentence because people are really good but they don't express t or show it because for reasons. He says that because he knows and has more experience and seen that people are not always good and well that's it.

5 for each of the following events identify one cause and one effect (a) Mrs Van Daan decision to steal food? Mrs frank change of heart about wanting the Van Daans to leave she thinks that his not fair and THAT HE HIS SORRY FOR EATING THE FOOD AND THAT IS TRUE HE NEEDS TO EAT but he he wont do it againg.
